Ajax ?

During some meaningless browsing of the internet I have come across this : pyjamas :
http://pyjs.org/

I have not got any experience in JavaScript so being able to use python to write Ajax applications would be useful.

Ajax is an idea for a framework that could be used for the front end of the system.

It would enable to create a more application type experience for the user , with no page reloads.

The Big Picture

This project is to improve / refactor / rewrite the current booking system at Cashmere High School

The current users are teachers at Cashmere High School

The current system is difficult to use ( each booking must be done separately and takes a long time to do this ) Teachers do not have much time to waste!!

The current system cannot allocate resources fairly
The current system is reliable

over 9000 seconds have elapsed since the start of the project

Still waiting for the admin to give me a copy of the old database and access to the current front end.

Looking to do the front end generation script in a language starting with P

The UI needs a massive overhaul from the glimpse I got of it
(Selecting multiple days at a time etc)

I am hoping to migrate the database to Postgresql

I am unsure of how to link postgres to the current Acess main database
